I wonder how much these Kefir grains are. This seems around Y700 for "5 packs."
I couldn't find any site which sells Kefir grains by the kilo.
Didn't know Kefir grows with honey sirup(sugar). If only I know how to make kefir grains from scratch...

The most significant difference between Yogurt and Kefir is that only Kefir contains beneficial yeasts, which can also produce alcohol.
The bacteria in kefir, on the other hand, can actually colonize the intestinal tract. Kefir also contains a lot larger range of bacteria, as well as yeasts. So while yogurt may contain a handful of different strains of bacteria, kefir may contain many more than that.
